LETTER 5: New Chatting With Video & A Free Show This Weekend

You might have noticed I haven’t sent out a newsletter in 2 weeks. I am making this newsletter a bi-weekly newsletter that sends out on Mondays instead of a weekly newsletter that sends out on Sundays. As I’ve been picking up more work, taking on more travels, and diving deeper into my personal projects, I realized it would be best to send this newsletter out every two weeks for a few reasons:

• I can put more intention into the exciting stories I choose to document and share with y’all instead of trying to force one out every week, where I risk the quality of the writing suffering. Thus, the potency of these stories can be higher and the quality of writing higher as well.

• This allows me to focus on my many other projects with more intention as well while still staying connected to my community. I’ll have more time in between letters to create new projects, have new story-worthy experiences, and release more creations.

• I am able to share more releases in the bi-weekly newsletter as I can create more higher-investment projects over the course of two weeks instead of one.

This week won’t have a story….BUT….I have a reaaall good one for the next newsletter I am excited to write and share with y’all! The video I have to support the text is quite magnificent as well…it has to do with a family of squirrels!

My first “Chatting With…” Series episode is now out on theBLUEPRINT’s YouTube channel (you can just click the picture above to start watching it!). This series is a recorded conversation video series where I meet with interesting people, often experts or people with field-specific experience, in any and all fields of life to pass on positive, educational information to the viewer. As a beginner with interests in many fields, I approach the conversation with a “Beginner’s Mind” and ask questions that many people new to these subjects would ask, thus allowing the guest to teach to anyone with any level of experience interested in this topic. The goal is to provide a wide array of unique conversations that supply not only an educational form of entertainment, but also an easily accessible range of interesting life paths to spark people’s interest in a variety of topics. I believe pursuing one’s interests leads to personal fulfillment in life, and I want to create a platform that can help aid people in finding theirs. This conversation is quite literally one of the most interesting conversations I’ve been in, and I hope you walk away from it like I did…more interested in butterflies and helping the natural world and with a smile on your face.

We also just went out to Cameron Parish to witness the monarch migration and search for an 800+ year old oak tree with Dr. Ross. He has written an article on our adventures which we hope to get published in the near future with my friend Matt’s and I’d photos supporting his story-telling text. The documentary we filmed while out there detailing our trip will be edited and released soon.

The video for the return of Dr. Ross’ Long Lost Tapestry will also be edited and released soon. Thank y’all for all of the support to make that happen, the encouragement to keep spreading good information and entertainment, and the interest you have in helping others!

Lastly, earlier today I released two butterflies with Dr. Ross at theDOJEAUX…it was our first time releasing butterflies together…you can watch that exciting adventure here or by clicking on the photo above!!

This Sunday @ LSU’s Hilltop Arboretum on Highland road at 3:30pm we are hosting the 2nd 808 sessions live music showcase! Come on out to jam out with us! Bring your blankets, food/drink, and some good vibes to listen to 6 local artists perform (also bring some bug spray for later when the bugs come out)! I’ll be doing a set out there and selling some new exclusive merch! Catch y’all out there to enjoy some beautiful weather, organic music, and the last blooms of the flowering season!
